International Scientific & Inter-Cultural Center is founded in Rhodes island in Greece.
Is the non-governmental, non-profit, association that is established by the initiative of important people that come from different fields such as art, science, sports and business. It has as an ultimate goal to cover various international and inter-cultural events that fully comply with UNESCO'S principles.
The basic goals of the Center are the following:
1.) The promotion by all means of the Global Scientific and Inter-Cultural Cooperation at all levels.
2.) Free trading of ideas and access to science, to training to education, to athletics, to pluralistic culture and to rendering.
3.) The development of Actions, that aim to assure and secure access to anyone to Information and to I.T. Technology, as well as the creation of educational hearths, emphasizing the timeless InterCultural Culture, Science and Athletics.
4.) The promotion of expression of pluralism and the cultural polymorph of Mass Media, as well as the promotion of Global rendering networks.
5.) The promotion of cultural polymorph fo people, silmutaneously with the encouragement and implementation-through various activities-of the scientific and intercultural conversation and the cooperation, as well as the reinforcement of initiatives that aim to save, maintain and protect the Greek but also the Global Cultural heritage (tangible and intangible).
6.) The promotion and improvement of equality among sexes.
7.) The promotion of experimentation and conversation within science, education, training and cultural politics.
8.) The promotion of creation for hearths of promotion, cooperation and development within Culture, Science, Athletics and Education ( creation of Educational Centers, libraries, multi-cultural and Athletic centers etc.).
9.) The promotion of ethical principals and values that characterize the Cultural, Scientific and Technological development.
10.) The constant trials to improve safe living of people, through the cultivation of peaceful activities and better environment administartion.
11.) The reinforcement of the Scientific, Technical and human skills in such a way, that everyone would be able to take place at the emerging societies of Knowledge.
12.) The reinforcement of cultural bonds, education and training with the international community and the support of cooperation with other Mediterranean and International NGO's.
13.) Make sure of the effacing of global poverty and hunger, that constitute another expression of human rights violation, while the problem is streching from the population movements that support imigration waves, taht afflict dramatically the weak orders (women & children). Especially for these sensitive categories it is imposed to provide any kind of help, support, protection and information in order to improve their lives and their enrollement to the greater social tissue.
14.) The promotion fo the following principle: " Education for all".
15.) The promotion of activities that aim to the accomplishment of total equality of the two sexes and the reinforcement of women's position.
16.) Activites that help to reduce children's mortality.
17.) Initiatives for the improvement of sanitary conditions of all mothers. The training, research, scientific information, medicine, psychological and social support as well as therapeutic confrontation of any kind of problem.
18.) Activities for the prevention and the opposition against AIDS, cancer and other fatal diseases. The provision of any moral and material help to sick people.
19.) The elaboration of strategic planning, for the sustainable growth, the usage and the taking advantage of waters.
20.) The reinforcement of European and International cooperations, having as a goal the polymorphic development and cultural cultivation.
21.) Multiple and polymorphic activities for the saving and more efficient protection of global monuments, especially the ones that are characterized as " Global Heritage Monuments".
22.) Activities for the eminence and protection of many other International Monuments that despite their enormous artistic value, they are not internationally protected.
